THIS RANK STAND OF WESTERN WHEATGRASS, SCS PROJECT, WAS TYPICAL OF SEVERAL HUNDRED ACRES OF THIS AND BLUE GRAMA WHICH RESULTED DIRECTLY FROM THIS WATER CONSERVATION SYSTEM, GEORGE H. SNODGRASS (LEFT), AND GORDON STAFORD OF ALCOVA, EXAMINING THE WHEATGRASS RESULTING FROM THE WATER STORED IN THE SOIL FROM THE SPREADER SYSTEM OF ONE OF THE APPROX. 50 STOCK WATER-WATER SPREADING DAMS CONSTRUCTED IN THE MAIN AND LATERAL DRAINAGES. THIS SPREADER IS JUST BELOW THE DAM (NO. 7), THE WATER IN THIS SPREADER RESULTED FROM 1.7 " RAIN RECEIVED JULY 10-11, NATURAL RESEEDING DONE BY CONTROL GRAZING, FREMONT CO., TRIBAL LAND, BIG HORN AREA, 7 MI. N & W OF ETHETE, WY-156
